Boatwave Wireless Networking installs Wi-Fi systems and provides consulting services for outdoor Public Access Hotspots in RV Parks, Marinas and Campgrounds.  We are excited about the applications of wireless fidelity Wi-Fi 802.11x computer networking and Internet access.  Patrons can use your network for a range of services including Internet access from the convenience of their boat or RV.  We assist you with management of your own wireless LAN or we can work with your local service providers to provide you a secure solution!

Our Mission

Boatwave's  mission is to provide low cost wireless outdoor networking and Hotspot Internet access for boat marinas, campgrounds, school campuses, and other open private and public areas.  Our primary customers are those who want to provide wireless networking for their customers, but are not sure how.  Do you worry about computer network security?  Let us provide a secure solution for you.  We also provide sales and consulting to existing IT Departments.

Boatwave Wireless Networking is based in St. Paul MN.  We were founded in 2001 following the advent of high speed 802.11b wireless computer networks.

Our technical staff is proficient in computer networking.  We are authorized Cisco Resellers, and our Technical Specialist has a CCNA Certification.  We are familiar with all Wi-Fi conventions including 802.11b, 802.11a, and 802.11g.  We also know wireless security!

 Our customers are very satisfied with the speed, reliability and security of the connection.  We have achieved a outdoor coverage diameter of 1 mile!  Our wireless networks run at 11 to 384 Meg.  This is 10 to 300 times faster than "fast" internet!  In practice, there are several coverage design issues that must be addressed.  We can help you meet your design needs for the least cost.
